Aftercare and Cremation Services
A little crematorium with a big heart.
Heart with Wings offers aftercare and cremation services here at our centre in Barrie, Ontario to ensure your beloved angel receives the highest quality aftercare and never leaves the hands of our caring and compassionate team members. If we are transporting your pet for aftercare and cremation, the care provider will give you some time alone with your pet and return with a gurney or blanket. You are welcome to accompany your pet out to the vehicle to give them one last hug. If you have requested a private cremation, your pet’s ashes will be returned in an urn of your choice in around 2 weeks.

Wooden Urns
The engineered wood (MDF) boxes are available in a Cherry and Natural Finish and are designed with a sliding panel for secure closure.
Bamboo Scattering & Burial Urns
Each hand-made urn is rubbed with natural oil to accentuate the grain and colors of the bamboo. The lid is secured with a strong birchwood locking pin. Each Bamboo Urn is wrapped and placed inside a special hand sewn, 100% natural cotton drawstring bag/ sleeve. Bury your BioUrn® in a garden, forest, or any personal place with meaning. Or, simply keep this beautiful piece on the mantle or in any special place in your home.
AWAKE Soil
Give new life to the cremains of your precious angel. Consider mixing AWAKE soil to your beloved pets cremains. Once mixed, their natural nutrients become bioavailable to the ecosystem—so they can give back to the environment, and nourish new life. AWAKE soil can be mixed with cremains and planted in your favourite spot–outside or with a potted plant. Ashes will turn to organic earth for an environmental resting place. Please ask our team about associated costs.
Bunny Urn
These lovingly hand-crafted ceramic urns are made in Ontario. A beautiful way to honour your sweet bunny. Please note, these urns cannot be engraved, though we can include a small name tag with your urn.
Engraving Fonts
Your pet’s name is included. Additional engraving is $35 (up to 4 lines, including your pet’s name, and a total of 3-5 words per line).

3D Clay Paw Print
A lovely impression of your beloved pet’s paw but in 3D. Smaller pets may have an impression including both feet. Can be made in White or Terracotta.
Available for $45 with a private cremation or $80 as its own keepsake.

Marbled Clay Paw Print
A beautiful marbled impression of your beloved pet’s paw. Whether your favourite colour, colours to match your pets bed, bandana or collar we have many colours available.
Available for $75 each, and with paint $80.

A beautiful impression of your beloved pet’s paw on a black cavas of clay, painted in gold.

Hanging Ornament Paw Print

Our Illuminated Spawt is hand-thrown in fine porcelain, customized with the outline of your pet’s paw, glazed in your choice of 5 colours, and finally kiln-fired. Colour Options: Snow, Sea, Charcoal. $160.

Cherished Crystal Urn and Keepsake
The Cherished Crystal urn is handcrafted by skilled artisans in a small town in the Czech Republic – an area known for high quality crystal making dating back thousands of years. This exclusive piece of art is made into a globe-like shape and has a “cracked” crystal appearance giving it character and adding to its beauty. It comes in two colors, Emerald Grey and Cappuccino and in two sizes (a full size urn and a keepsake). The matching keepsake has an area on top to place a candle.

The Living Urn®
The Living Urn® is an attractive urn holding the cremated remains of a loved one, which provides families with a way to grow a beautiful, living memorial tree or houseplant, both indoors or on a patio. The urn itself is made from sleek porcelain, comes in three colors, and measures approximately 9″ high and 9″ in diameter. Inside is a special compartment to hold your loved one’s cremated remains, a growing system of interlocking ring trays, and accessories to assist in the planting process. Available in three colours: White, Blue, and Honey Butter. $250
Photo Urns
These engineered (MDF) Wood Photo Pet Cremation Urns are a beautiful and personal way to remember a beloved pet. Any photo can be placed in the frame and changed without disturbing the cremains. $150+hst.
Ceramic Urns
These locally hand-crafted ceramic urns are a lovely way to honour your dear pet. A lovely name tag with your pet’s name engraved is included, however, the urns themselves cannot be engraved, and so do not allow for additional engraving options. As these are kilned by fire, each urn may vary slightly in colour. Available in the colours: Onyx, Pink, Tiffany Blue, Mother of Pearl, and with Paws $100+hst.
Beloved Pet Urn
Our Beloved Pet urns are made by a local artisan that can engrave your pet’s name on the front as well as customize the colour of the fur on the sleeping pet. Standard Beloved Pet urns are $165+hst, and custom coloured is $205+hst.
