We are a mostly mobile practice that provides fear-free at-home senior, palliative, hospice and end of life care. We consider ourselves a passionate and caring team who have a special place in our hearts for the families and pets we help through their senior transition.

We implement gold standard hospice and end-of-life veterinary care and are always striving to provide the time and energy necessary for a furry family member in their senior years.

To succeed in this position, we ask applying applicants to have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. We pride ourselves on prioritizing continued education so that each team member can offer the best quality care to our patients and clients.

Heart with Wings acknowledges that to be able to able to provide the best care possible for our families, the comfort and health of our team members is a priority. This is why we make sure to allow for 3-6 months of shadowing and structured training.

We request that all applicants have at least 2 years of veterinary experience.

The position is a flexible 20-40 hours per week which may in the future include occasional weekends as we are rapidly growing.

After completing training, a successful candidate may earn an average of $30-35 + per hour, including production bonuses.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $21.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:
8-10 hour shift

Experience:

Veterinary: 2 years (required)
Possess a valid driver’s license

Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted
  • Capable of walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, standing, and reaching consistently during the workday
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and the ability to maintain steady hands while using medical tools
